About the role
We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Tax to safeguard our financial practice with vigilance and strategic insight. You'll be more than just a number-cruncher; you'll be a financial gatekeeper for Reckitt, ensuring that we not only stay ahead in compliance but also capitalise on opportunities to craft a stronger, more profitable future. Your expertise in tax laws and proactive approach will guide us through the complexities of tax regulations, turning challenges into strategic advantages.
Your responsibilities
Lead Sales Finance Planning & Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to optimize spending and drive strategic decisions.
- Analyze portfolio mix, pricing, and trade investments to enhance margin performance.
- Understand and report on end-to-end margins, driving improvements through operational actions.
Lead Planning & Forecasting for Trade & Marketing Spends
- Review plans and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Manage monthly spending, update the Management Team on variances, and provide supporting analytics.
- Contribute to the country planning and forecasting process, offering recommendations and direction.
- Identify P&L optimization opportunities in collaboration with the Canada Leadership Team.
Spends Booking & Analytics
- Supervise a team to ensure accurate trade and marketing spend bookings.
- Conduct spend analytics to drive ROI discussions, cost optimization, KPI tracking, and budget variance analysis.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Directors to align on strategic priorities.
Systems & Processes
- Lead projects to simplify team workflows using advanced systems.
- Ensure financial management reporting and processes support business needs, setting up efficient systems and tools.
- Oversee trade reporting transformation projects.
Strategic Business Partner
- Act as a strategic partner to the Sales Director and Marketing Lead, providing financial guidance and support to other functions and finance teams as needed.

- Team Leadership & Independence: Capable of leading a team and working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Results-Oriented: Organized, efficient, and resourceful team player, comfortable in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- People Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional finance certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, MBA).
- 5-7 years of post-qualification work experience.
- Preferred: Commercial Finance or FP&A experience in the CPG industry.
