This Product Manager will be a key driver in helping define and develop the future of sustainable design through technology, as well as working on products to help reduce our global carbon footprint.

The Product Manager – Sustainable Products & Brands, Global role is the leader of this project and its 3 workstreams (operating model, data remediation, IT platform), responsible for its product lifecycle.

About the role

The scope of the role, functionally, will be a leadership role driving:

Strategy

  • Workstreams governance, in particular decision rights and planning
  • Requirements, planning and dependency management.
  • Data strategy


Operation

  • Mobilisation of departments, coordination of third parties
  • Product resource management
  • Communication, training and other change management considerations


Quality

  • Product has clear quality assurance connected into key releases


BAU

  • Help maximise reporting efficiency and accuracy, while minimising BU P&L impacts and risks

Your responsibilities

Specifically, the role is responsible for the following:

  • Communicating the strategy necessary to drive packaging footprint reporting compliance.
  • Driving product planning, within L2 plans
  • Mobilise relevant organisations, training and communicating with them
  • Engaging the 3 Business Units to drive compliance within 2023-4
  • Driving results / KPIs of each of the workstream’s items
  • Implement a functioning product governance and being the driving force, across departments, geographies and business units
  • Reviewing quality and pace through standard tollgate mechanisms
  • Owning and driving the necessary third-party support (IT delivery and data cleansing)
  • Owning budget setup and delivery within budget

The experience we're looking for

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in a product management role
  • Experience managing a data analytics product
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sustainability

  • Complex stakeholder map and sponsorship
