Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.
Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Trainee to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, account management, and customer relationship building, working closely with our National Account Manager, Key Account Managers and other professionals in the field.
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
• Customer Relationship Management: Assist National Account Manager in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers in the pharmacy channel.
• Commercial Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned key accounts, contributing ideas to improve customer engagement and drive both business and category growth.
• Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking key account performance, and helping to forecast future sales based on customers needs and market conditions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including trade marketing and operations to ensure alignment on customer requirements and successful project execution.
• Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s brands and products, becoming an expert point of contact for customers
• Sales Support: Provide support in the sales process, including preparing presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
The experience we're looking for
- Recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field, eager to forge a path in sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the team and clients.
- An analytical approach with a talent for interpreting data and market insights.
- Resilience and adaptability within a vibrant sales environment.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
