About the role

The Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role within country Trade Marketing team, responsible of the development and implementation of Brand, Trade and Customer 4P Strategies, Category Management, and leverage Key Account and Field team to meet agreed objectives through selling, negotiating and executing the company's 4P objectives.

The role is focused on dedicated Brands and understands the specifications on Key Accounts within and provide expertise and taylor-made approach together with building expert knowledge for Reckitt brands in our key categories and sharing this with the sales teams and customers in order to build long-term partnerships and increase profit and sales. Cooperation and cross functional interaction with Key Account, Brand Marketing, Supply, Finance, Regulatory and IS on daily basis.

Your responsibilities

  • Continous analysis of the brands' position, works together with the Brand Manager Team, Key Account Team, Head of Trade Marketing, Country Manager to develop plans to ensure Reckitt market share gain and category expansion for the Brands across all trade channels
  • Able to work independently with analytical tools (e.g. Nielsen, Focus , Dunnhumby/DM databases) to do full 4Ps analysis on distributions, promotion best practices, competition monitoring and getting category / consumer insights for developing strong Brand Plans fitting into customer strategy. Monitoring the level of execution and competitors activities in field during regular store-checks.
  • Develop customer 4P strategy and action plans in line with respective brand marketing and sales counterpart, be in charge of their implementation. Set challenging targets by brand/customer and ensure strict follow up. Communicate priorities to the Field Force
  • Continous analysis of competitive and customer's position
  • Develop and actively use Sales reporting and monitoring systems for dedicated brands (4P, share, customer financials, competition)
  • Key interface between Brand Marketing for CZSK Business, specifically for Sales Team with regards compelling customer plans to drive Reckitt brands
  • Take active part in 4P LSM reviews and development, implement and follow up on agreed action plans
  • Monitor and benchmark customer performance against 4P targets
  • Monitor prices Reckitt and Competition
  • Ensure fast NPD/EPD listings and distribution gaps closing via compelling taylored category trade stories and MSL compliance.
  • Lead relevant local meetings to ensure strong drive and follow up towards Sales
  • Prepare 4Ps Customer Plans (both Action Plans and Follow Up Plans) and competition overview for key forums and give regular update on the brands performance/4Ps, Dunnhumby insights and Action Plans
  • Responsibility on customer-, channel- dedicated portfolio in terms of it's development, launch, updated during life cycle, delisting
  • Lead development and implementation of POS materials based on approved key visuals

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years FMCG experience in Trade Marketing is a must, in Marketing or Sales is advantageous
  • Sharp commercial instinct and a deep understanding of the Customer Management Process.
  • Analyses various data sources with ease, converting them into measurable and actionable plans.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
  • Proficient in using Syndicated Data (e.g., Nielsen / IRI) and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant category management software.

  • The business language in Reckitt is English, therefore fluency in this language is essential. Fluency in Czech/Slovak language is also essential.
