About the role

We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Director within our Internal IT Product Stream to illuminate the path of innovation at Reckitt. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in advancing our Information Technology & Digitalisation (IT & D) products, crafting strategies that elevate our processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in sculpting the future of Reckitt's digital landscape. You'll be supporting the Product Stream Lead by optimising the operational aspects of Product management across the Stream’s portfolio. You will oversee the portfolio, analysing investment decisions and identifying short/long term capability gaps in order to maximise the value delivered by Products in scope. Accountable for operational efficiency and overall Product Stream performance to continue on from a successful digital transformation and to help lead Product stream development into the future.

Your responsibilities

  • Translates the Product Stream strategy to shape the Stream portfolio, deciding on objectives and goals that maximise the operational efficiency of the portfolio
  • Leads reviews of any significant portfolio elements on a periodic basis and on demand if they are challenged. Provides visibility on trends and forecasts versus plans and provides recommendations as to whether elements should continue as-is, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued
  • Provides central Stream oversight on the in-flight initiatives included in the portfolio, ensuring that the required capabilities can be achieved by the skills of leadership, enabled by the correct tooling.
  • Interfaces with the Product Group lead and reports directly to the Product Stream lead when a skills gap needs to be filled. Provides recommendations for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resources engaged with all or many of the elements of the IT&D program portfolio
  • Oversees the governance processes, incident management and the continuous improvement of Products and Platforms in the Product Stream, ensuring that they are in accordance with OCIO guidelines and compliant with security measures set by the CTO function
  • Identifies opportunities for automation and optimisation in accordance with the IT&D data strategy
  • Collaborates with Product Group Managers and Platform Managers in their Stream to maintain their Product catalog. Provides visibility to the enterprise on the Products in their scope through webinars, best in class practices and tangible use cases
  • Engages with and conducts reviews with senior Product Group Managers, Platform Managers and relevant Business Stakeholders to validate and assess the product portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required
  • Responsible for identifying risks to the performance of elements of the portfolio to the Product Stream Lead
