About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team as a Senior Associate in the global Air Wick R&D team based on our Hull site. Here you’ll lead new formula and fragrance developments for Essential Mist, our fastest growing product format.

Your responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of projects from initial conceptualisation to product launch, by managing technical development and validation activities

- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Safety and Manufacturing to ensure all required project activities are completed effectively and efficiently

- Identify opportunities to enhance product performance and robustness and develop associated plans to validate comprehensively

- Update key stakeholders on progress, risks and status of your project and activities.

- Interpret consumer and market data to generate viable product concepts, through leveraging new or existing technologies, scientific principles or methods.

- Guide and mentor members of your team.

The experience we're looking for

- Degree held in a relevant scientific field and with strong technical curiosity to solve complex problems

- Must have a proven track record in delivering development projects from concept through to launch through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with experience in risk management

- Knowledge of key project management principles including understanding of timeline building, prioritisation, and meeting milestone objectives.

- Understanding of key requirements of R&D validation and production success criteria.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical information to non-technical colleagues.
