About the role

The Omnichannel Development team is a Sales Support function that drives growth initiatives (internal and external), actionable insights, and digital readiness across our Strategic Grocery Customers (Kroger, Albertsons, HEB, Publix, Meijer, Ahold Delhaize, and other direct Grocery accounts). The Omnichannel Development team functions as a key part of the Grocery Sales Team, acting as the liaison with internal functions (Media, Shopper Insights, Category Management, Trade Marketing and Consumer/Shopper Activation) across 10+ accounts. We delve into Grocery Channel (Class of Trade) trends, exploring effective strategies and learnings to fine-tune our approach to best serve our Grocery Retail Customers and deliver profitable growth. We are the experts when it comes to the ever evolving omnichannel capabilities and strategies within the Grocery Channel. We create tailored fit Grocery activations and insights that deliver omnichannel leadership within the formula category.

Your responsibilities

Our primary objectives are to identify tailored (Grocery Retail Customer) & scalable (Total Grocery) opportunities and develop a clear winning “Omnichannel Strategy” within the Formula category.

In summary, you'll:

  • Excel in Digital Readiness - Implement, track, and optimize digital content; Lead assortment, distribution, and availability across pickup and delivery; Educate and upskill cross functional sales partners on best-in-class omni strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal end to end brand and media teams to ensure our strategies are shining through in the Grocery channel.
  • Enhance Shopper Engagement -Identify customer specific consumer needs and tailor fit solutions to improve overall experience and drive lifetime value. Programs as aligned with national shopper and brand initiatives; Create avenues for consumers to overcome feeding hurdles through education, navigation, and support that drives brand and retailer loyalty.
  • Drive Competitive Intensity & Awareness - Analyze and track digital performance, promotion, and activations for effectiveness and frequency; Evaluate disruptive events & launches
  • Deliver Profitable Growth - Manage and track company gross to net initiatives to ensure we are consistently optimizing and identifying sustainable growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the Value of Reckitt to our Customers -Develop a deep knowledge of Grocery Customers through engagement; in-depth understanding of current and emerging capabilities, review of ads and digital content, in addition to reviewing published Customer profiles (e.g., Kantar and other Market Research); Identify and understand their category challenges and needs

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree Required; Business, Marketing, Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years CPG sales experience required with previous experience in some of the following: Customer Sales / Customer Management, Category Management / Category Insights, Trade Marketing / Trade & Promotional Planning, Shopper Marketing / Omni-channel Marketing, Ecommerce / Retail Media Management, Experience working with different National & Regional Grocery Customers
  • Track record of leading large scale projects with key retail partners including shopper activation, negotiations, range reviews, category expansion, etc.
  • Digitally and omni-channel savvy. Strong understanding of Omnichannel capabilities and benchmarking.
  • Excellent communicator: written and spoken, with the ability to adapt to different audiences, and present PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong proficiency in IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, 84.51 and other customer point of sale systems is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skilled data storyteller, self-starter and highly collaborative.
  • Availability to travel 20% of the time.

US salary ranges

USD 110,000.00 - $196,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
