About the role
RBR is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Sales Coordinator to support our sales team.
In this role, you’ll manage the sales process from vetting inbound customer inquiries through order validation and handoff to sales operations, ensuring accuracy and smooth execution at every step.
You’ll work closely with sales, operations, finance, and marketing to keep everything running efficiently, whether it’s qualifying leads, quoting, reviewing purchase orders, maintaining Salesforce data, or supporting tenders and proposals.
This is a highly collaborative role that blends coordination, systems thinking, and continuous process improvement.
What you’ll do
Provide quoting support to Technical Sales Managers (TSMs) and agents
Review and validate purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in pricing, payment terms, and shipping details before handoff to sales operations
Partner with TSMs, operations, and finance to resolve order discrepancies
Participate in and coordinate early-stage and technical customer video meetings and calls
Maintain and update Salesforce records (accounts, contacts, opportunities, next steps, pipeline, quotes)
Support tenders, proposals, quotes, and other administrative sales tasks
Track key sales metrics in partnership with the Head of Global Sales
Assist with dashboard and report management to ensure accurate, up-to-date data
Provide backup support to TSMs as needed
Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience
Job requirements
What you bring
Experience in sales coordination, sales operations, and technical sales
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience using a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing
A proactive, process-improvement mindset
Ability to adapt as responsibilities evolve
Nice to haves
Experience supporting technical or B2B sales teams
Familiarity with tender or proposal submissions
Exposure to reporting or dashboard management
Interest in science, environmental technology, or precision instrumentation
Salary range: $55,000–$65,000
The final salary and job level will depend on your experience and qualifications.
