Join RBC's Retail Auto Finance team as a Senior Manager, Auto Finance Product Analytics, where you'll drive strategic impact through data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics. In this role, you'll partner with leadership to deliver insights and reporting that fuel Auto Finance’s ambitious growth objectives while optimizing performance. You'll lead analytics initiatives spanning the full business lifecycle—from growth strategy and client acquisition through client management, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to shape the future of Auto Finance through strategic analytics leadership.

What will you do?

  • Transform Raw Data into Strategic Intelligence – Harness Python, SQL, SAS, and Tableau to distill complex datasets into actionable insights that fuel confident, forward-looking business decisions.

  • Revolutionize Operations with AI-Powered Automation – Spearhead process optimization and automation initiatives using AI (e.g., developing agents in RBC Assist Pro) to boost operational efficiency and team productivity.

  • Own Critical Business Reporting – Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of essential reports that empower strong leadership and decision-making across the Auto Finance business.

  • Lead Our Data Infrastructure Transformation – Play a pivotal role in modernizing our analytics ecosystem, driving migration from SAS to Python, and championing next-generation analytical tools.

  • Champion Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing – Build and strengthen relationships across teams by fostering open communication, generously sharing insights and learnings, and breaking down silos between internal and external partners.

  • Mentor and Elevate – Coach and develop team members, fostering growth and building a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

  • Embrace Growth and Adaptability – Thrive in a dynamic environment by continuously expanding your skillset and stepping up to new challenges with enthusiasm and flexibility.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 5+ Years Advanced Analytics Experience – Proficient in Python, SQL, and SAS, with a proven track record of extracting insights from complex datasets.

  • Data-Driven Storyteller – Transform big data into compelling, actionable insights that drive business decisions.

  • Strategic Leader and Communicator – Excel at cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication across business and technical environments.

  • Financial Acumen – Strong grasp of finance concepts and business case development.

  • Data Visualization Expert – Proficient in Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate insights effectively.

Nice-to-have:

  • Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative field of study

  • Experience with Data Engineering

  • Experience with AI tools such as RBC Assist Pro

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable

  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities

  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact
