What is the opportunity?
You will interact directly with clients and conduct thorough reviews of clients' existing credit structures and unique circumstances to help find solutions. You will mitigate credit losses by implementing changes to the credit structure and providing sound Credit advice to clients.
What will you do?
- Handle incoming and outgoing client calls to negotiate changes and credit restructuring
- Assess Personal clients' credit structures and determine if changes are required to mitigate risk
- Interact with Account Managers and direct discussions with clients to negotiate changes and credit restructuring
- Apply sound credit judgment, customer service, and financial advice skills
- Complete credit applications in CASPER
- In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 3+ years of Home Equity Financing (HEF) and Personal credit experience, with Delegated Lending Authorities
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk policies and procedures for personal and Home Equity lending products
- Experience with CASPER system and MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- A team player attitude and be an analytical thinker
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a call centre dialer environment
- Able to work shifts within the business hours of 8am - 9pm, Monday - Friday, working one late shift per week, until 9pm
Nice-to-have
- Branch client experience
- Familiarity with Linx
- Bilingual (French/English)
