What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking an exceptional Portfolio Governance & Analytics Manager to join our Digital Cheque Processing (DCP) team. The DCP team is at the forefront of modernizing cheque processing capabilities, driving innovation, and delivering value across our portfolio. This is a critical role that drives delivery excellence, ensures effective governance, and empowers management with data-driven insights across the entire portfolio lifecycle. You will be instrumental in transforming how we track, analyze, and optimize our projects delivery, from intake through success stories.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who combines technical excellence with business acumen. You thrive on uncovering insights hidden in data and are passionate about leveraging AI and automation to solve real business challenges. You have a proven track record of building end-to-end analytics solutions that drive decision-making, optimize operations, and unlock value across the entire project lifecycle, from intake through success.

As a data-driven problem solver, you will design and implement analytics solutions that provide end-to-end visibility into portfolio performance. You'll support strategic planning, optimize delivery processes, and champion the adoption of AI-enabled solutions that enhance decision-making speed and execution excellence.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate annual and 5-year strategic planning processes, supporting portfolio health, demand-to-capacity analysis, and financial forecasting

  • Design, optimize, and automate governance processes across intake, portfolio health, resource capacity, and delivery performance

  • Leverage data-driven insights to transform portfolio and delivery management practices, automating manual processes and maintaining robust analytics platforms

  • Identify opportunities and build AI-enabled solutions for project delivery dashboards, intake optimization, pipeline vs. capacity assessment, and portfolio roadmap modeling using historic data

  • Create executive-level insights on supplier, portfolio, and financial performance; maintain key metrics (e.g., cost per cheque) guiding strategic decisions

  • Build and continuously enhance an evidence-based DCP Portfolio Delivery Dashboard aligned with agile best practices and business value drivers

  • Oversee supplier delivery lifecycle management, including contracts, SOWs, and work authorization, while coaching team members on financial tracking and analytics tools

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Expert level experience in ETL (extract transform load); someone who can pull data from various data sources and use it for analysis & reporting

  • Advanced Excel: Data modeling, Power BI/Analytics integration, Macros & VBA, complex formulas, Power Query (ETL)

  • Tableau/Power BI: Dashboard creation, data visualization, interactive reporting

  • SQL: Query writing, data extraction, joins, and aggregations

  • Statistical Analysis: Variance analysis, correlation, forecasting, and risk metrics

  • Data Warehouse Knowledge: Familiarity with data structures and ETL processes

Nice-to-have

  • AI & Automation: Experience leveraging AI to tackle real problems; ability to identify opportunities and build AI solutions
