Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Head of RMFI Governance, Risk & Controls (GRC) Implementation Office (GRC Head), the Senior Director, Program Execution and Governance will support the design, build and governance of the RMFI GRC Implementation Office which is accountable for coordinating and advancing the regulatory risk and compliance program across RMFI collaborating with shared services across PBI, Operations and the enterprise, as needed.

This role will help drive a culture of accountability, standardization, and transparency across risk areas and brings a deep level of subject matter expertise in the area of Mutual Fund operations, compliance and regulatory matters.

What will you do?

  • Leads the identification, and leading where assigned, the Risk and Controls transformation program efforts to elevate RMIF's operating practices.

  • Acting as a secondary point of contact for Risk and Controls ownership transformation program and regulatory issues related to RMFI.

  • Supporting and managing ongoing dialogue between the impacted stakeholder groups through the Executive SteerCo, and the RMFI Management Committee.

  • Leads the oversight of work products for regulatory requirements and expectations.

  • Assisting the GRC Head in fostering collaboration across business lines to address transformation issues.

  • Engaging strategic subject matter advisors to foster alignment to regulatory expectations ensuring risk area coverage is compliant.

  • Identifies and develops tracking established Risk and Controls transformation program actions, providing tracking and reporting of milestones.

  • Supporting the implementation of improved KRI and KPI accountability tracking (dashboard) for RMFI control performance.

  • Promoting accountability and transparency for consistent application of the Risk and Controls governance model.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience

  • Leadership experience of relevant GRC transformation

  • Excellent communication and relationship builder with key stakeholders

  • In depth knowledge in Securities/Mutual Fund products, processes and regulatory environment

  • Proven ability to lead large teams and has extensive experience with program execution

  • Undergraduate degree

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge of banking risk and compliance function preferred

  • Advanced education in business or law is valued
