What is the opportunity?
The RBC Direct Investing Marketing team is seeking an experienced and passionate marketer to lead new strategic initiatives. As Senior Manager, you will have accountability for launching innovative features and offerings that drive market differentiation, increase awareness, relevance, and accelerate business growth.

You will champion product storytelling, own integrated marketing strategy across multiple channels, and collaborate to bring bold ideas to life through data-driven insights and creativity—driving business priorities and exceeding targets.
- Lead development of product value propositions, translating data into distinct market positioning and actionable strategies
- Own translation of business objectives, challenges and priorities into impactful marketing strategies across owned, organic and paid channels
- Lead and launch integrated campaigns, collaborating across RBC's internal and external ecosystem
- Measure, optimize, and improve tactics across the full funnel to achieve business goals and maximize ROI
- Partner with creative teams to develop compelling paid media, content, and campaign assets
- Serve as a subject matter expert on macro trends, category insights, and consumer behavior to inform positioning and tactics
- Navigate complexity through collaborative stakeholder management across all organizational levels
- Establish disciplined KPIs, measure performance, and translate insights into strategic opportunities and nurture campaigns
- Foster team culture with emphasis on collaboration, growth mindset, creativity, bold thinking, and experimentation
What You'll Need to Succeed
Must Have:
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with proven success leading impactful campaigns
- Investing knowledge and / or passion for self-directed investing —you actively invest, follow trends, and consume investing content
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams and influence at all organizational levels
- Experience working in a matrix-based environments; adaptability in rapidly evolving, ambiguous settings with strong change-agent capabilities
- Strong storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills with passion for innovation and challenging the status quo
- Proven success driving profitable, data-driven acquisition; expertise across digital, mobile, social, and CRM disciplines
- Proven ability to influence, work across and inspire in a high complex organization, including at various levels of management
- Strategic thinking with demonstrated client focus; sound judgment in creative oversight and working with agency partners
Nice to Have:
- Experience in large, complex, or regulated organizations
- Background in fintech, startups, or growth marketing
