Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Analyst, Structuring (12-month contract), you will work with Distribution Sales, Cross Asset Trading and Global structuring team to design, manufacture and price structured solutions that suit RBC client’s needs and RBC Risk appetite.

What will you do?

  • Streamline the workflow on the pricing and execution of Structured products for FICC and Equity offering
  • Collate & prepare data analysis for Sales & Structuring Desk Head for management review
  • Assist in new product launches from system workflow analysis, documentation to pricing and execution.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly client marketing material
  • Market / product intelligence: geographic activity and RBC product popularity
  • Structuring on Cross Asset Product with a focus on FX Options & Commodity
  • Coordinate deal execution and documentation with internal & external stakeholders (client, trader, support)
  • Manufacture, price and market thematic ideas to RBC Sales Team

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Degree or equivalent is required.
  • The role would typically require 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • A high degree of mathematical ability and ability to price complex structures and option.
  • Significant understanding of financial products and derivatives pricing.
  • Good knowledge of financial products.
  • Excellent modelling capabilities.
  • Knowledge of VBA, Python and database (SQL, MongoDB).
  • Ability to conduct Information Technology development.
  • Analytical skillset and coding experience Self-motivated, innovative, and adaptable.
  • Team player and ability to work with & co-ordinate many stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills, strong attention to detail.
  • MAS licensed.

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience in Finance Market/ Banking experience.
