What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and detail-oriented marketer to join the RBC Wealth Management Marketing team. The Marketing Manager, Enterprise Strategic Client Group & Private Banking will support the Director and other Manager with the execution of strategic marketing initiatives for the Enterprise Strategic Client Group and Canadian Private Banking businesses. This individual will bring experience in both traditional and digital marketing within the financial institution segment, providing recommendations for process improvements, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing collateral, digital platforms, and client engagement events.
What will you do?
- Full cycle marketing project management, owning projects end-to-end from scheduling and budgeting to delivery and post-project measurement
- Manage day-to-day support of line of business marketing requests from triaging to execution, providing partners with solutions that achieve business objectives
- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of marketing interfaces, including the self-serve marketing platform, project management tools, and event management tools
- Develop, enhance, and maintain corporate marketing materials (digital & print), adhering to strict quality control and brand standards
- Act as the primary liaison between the business, legal, and compliance to assure regulatory compliance for all marketing material
- Write, edit, and proofread copy with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, frequently with tight timelines
- Manage internal and external relationships, including marketing platform vendors, print vendors, creative agencies, and designers
- Drive business development opportunities through thought leadership, client engagement, and content development
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events, including logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite oversight, ensuring seamless and successful event experiences
- Act as marketing lead for the North America Family Office Report
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, and/or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or copywriting
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage projects end-to-end
- Demonstrated conflict management skills and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to prioritize competing business priorities and project timelines
- Ability to organize work and execute multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes taking on last-minute requests
- Experience in event management
- Superb communication skills, comfortable speaking in front of senior leadership teams when required
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of AI applications in marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) principles
- Background in traditional marketing
- Some proficiency in French (reading and writing)
- Copywriting experience
- Understanding of the RBC Wealth Management businesses
