Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Client Communications is responsible for leading the development & execution of high impact client communications that enhance the client experience and support the firm’s business objectives. The role oversees the creation, quality and delivery of client facing content, including newsletters, client letters and factsheets, ensuring messaging is clear, compliant and timely.

In this role, the manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as marketing, internal communications, Line of Business Subject Matter Experts and product owners to ensure communications are accurate, relevant and tailored to client needs.

The manager will be responsible for managing the end to end communications process, from content strategy and development to final delivery, leveraging insights and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

What will you do?

Client Newsletter development

  • Manage the end to end production of client newsletters, from content planning through distribution, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant and aligned with firm’s priorities, client needs and market context.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g marketing, LOB SMEs, compliance) to curate and source content that provides value to clients and reinforces the firm’s thought leadership
  • Maintain editorial calendar, aligning newsletter distribution with key business initiatives, market events and seasonal themes

Client Letters

  • Lead the creation and coordination of client letters related to service updates, regulatory changes, product enhancements or one time client notifications. Translate complex topics (e.g .fee changes, account transitions, regulatory disclosures) into clear, client friendly language that maintains transparency and trust.
  • Manage stakeholder input and approvals, working closely with SMEs, legal, compliance, product owners to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Coordinate logistics for delivery as necessary

Key Initiative Support

  • Support other key WMC initiatives, including Proposals/ RF, podcasts, Client & Advisor facing events, Annual client survey and Library maintenance (updates to factsheets, FAQs, events in a box)

Must Have

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading ability with a focus on clarity, tone, and professionalism.
  • Able to distill complex financial or regulatory content into clear, client friendly language
  • Strategic thinking - able to align communications with business objectives, client needs and brand positioning; Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience through thoughtful communications
  • Project management skills – high degree of accuracy and rigor in reviewing content
  • Wealth Management / financial services experiences

Nice to Have

  • CIRO Supervisor designation

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$62,000.00 - $110,000.00
