What is the opportunity?
RBC Private Wealth is seeking an Associate to join the Client Management Team in Jersey, with a focus on supporting High Net Worth and Ultra-High Net Worth client relationships. The Associate will have responsibility for providing excellent service levels to these clients to develop profitable business for Wealth Management-Europe (WME) and the wider RBC organization.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Deliver an exceptional client experience and support Relationship Managers in securing new and sustainable revenues for Wealth Management Europe in line with the Private Wealth Sales Methodology.
- Act as a principal point of contact to clients and other stakeholders, providing expert support with day-to-day banking and administration requirements.
- Learn about and adopt the Private Wealth Sales Methodology throughout the lifecycle of the client relationship, including fundamentals of building trust with existing and prospective clients to nurture successful relationships. Gain a deep understanding of client needs, delivering tailored insight and solutions and how to maintain and grow client relationships.
- Act as the first line of defense relating to key activities and ensure any associated requests are dealt with in a compliant manner. Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues and escalate/report all risk events and near misses immediately.
- Adhere to all internal policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements to ensure business standards are always met in line with RBC’s Culture of Excellence.
- Collaborate with business partners and support the Associate Team Leaders by providing timely feedback about training needs and internal processes to enhance and support client service.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a growth-oriented team.
- Client service skills: the candidate must have the skills to communicate effectively with clients verbally and in writing, be able to identify and articulate issues and solutions, the integrity to earn the trust of clients and other stakeholders, and the business acumen to support mutually beneficial opportunities for the client and RBC.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- A proven track record in a client-facing role. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Nice-to-have
- Desire to complete professional qualification.
- Experience in a Wealth Management support role.
