The Compliance Technology team, a part of Global Functions Technology (GFT), is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Business Analysis to lead and drive business analysis efforts for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering strategic solutions that align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, to ensure the successful delivery of GRC initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of GRC processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Global Functions Technology is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

Job Description
What will you do?
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to address business challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the end-to-end business analysis process for GRC projects, including requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
- Define and implement best practices for business analysis within the GRC domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to design and implement GRC solutions that meet business needs.
- Partner with project manager to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
- Manage a team of business analyst and project manager, to provide guidance, mentorship and support while fostering a culture of continue learning and professional development.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) projects.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management practices, and compliance processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, methodologies, and techniques, with knowledge of project management principles and practices
Nice-to-have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with GRC platforms and tools (e.g., Archer) is highly desirable.
