What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Regulatory PMO team as Director of Cyber Security Data Governance, with a focus on supporting Regulatory Program Delivery. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our data governance practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, while driving the successful delivery of regulatory programs across the organization.

What will you do?

• Lead the design and execution of data governance initiatives that support regulatory compliance, including data classification, data quality, and data lifecycle management, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals.

• Act as a subject matter expert on data governance and regulatory compliance, providing guidance to stakeholders across the organization.

• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory teams, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks associated with regulatory programs.

• Monitor changes in regulatory landscapes and assess their impact on data governance practices, recommending adjustments as needed.

• Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability across the organization, promoting best practices in data governance
  

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• 10+ years of experience in data protection, cybersecurity, or information risk management roles, with at least 5 years in leadership

• Proven success in execution governance in a global financial services environment.

• Strong knowledge of data protection technologies and practices

• Experience with control design and operationalization, especially for regulated environments.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management, with influence across global teams

Nice-to-have:

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA

• CIPT or CDPSE for privacy/data protection expertise
