We are looking for a Manager, Insights & Advanced Analytics to help us deepen member engagement and unlock new opportunities across the Avion Rewards ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of data and digital experience driving how millions of Canadians interact with one of Canada’s most recognized loyalty programs.
You’ll lead initiatives that blend analytics, storytelling, and strategy to enable personalization, guide decisions, and power data driven growth. You will also partner across functions to deliver insights, automation, and analytical solutions that scale impact.
What will you do?
Lead analytical work that uncovers actionable insights to shape the Avion Rewards experience and drive member engagements.
Partner with product, marketing, offers, and technology teams to design and measure experiments, optimize digital journeys, and evaluate new features.
Develop advanced analytics solution, including segmentation and predictive modeling, to drive personalization and tailor experiences for our members.
Work with some of the latest tools available through RBC/Borealis including LLM powered analytics, agentic analytics workflows, and code assist platforms that help you move faster and explore new ideas.
Oversee the design and delivery of dashboards, KPIs, and data products that drive both strategic and operational decisions.
Automate and streamline data processes by building scalable pipelines, dashboards, and reusable data assets.
Translate complex findings into clear narratives that influence senior stakeholders and inspire action.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, with focus on digital, product, or customer analytics.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL (Experience with spark is an asset) and familiarity with GA4.
Hands on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Looker.
Proven ability to automate analytical workflows and improve efficiency through scalable data solutions.
Strong business acumen and ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with GIT and workflow automation tools (Airflow/Rundeck).
Experience guiding cross-functional teams to translate data into measurable business insights.
Nice to have:
Loyalty or consulting background.
Experience with Python ML libraries like Scikit-learn and TensorFlow.
Experience with Cloud Data Platforms such as: Snowflake, Data Bricks, AWS.
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and personalization framework.
