What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking a senior product leader to drive the evolution of our Finance, Actuarial and Accounting data platform under IFRS17. This role will lead the product vision and delivery model across three cross-functional squads, ensuring we deliver business value iteratively and aligned to Finance Close and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate combines data platform product leadership with strong financial system understanding, and thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. This role partners closely with Finance, Actuarial, Data Engineering, Business Insights, and Technology leaders to deliver measurable improvements in close cycle time, reconciliation quality, controls, and reporting transparency.
What will you do?
Translate business needs into a clear sequencing plan, balancing foundational fixes and business-line priorities.
Drive portfolio intake, prioritization, backlog management and PI alignment across squads.
Lead 3 product squads with Product Owners and Tech Leads to deliver high-impact increments.
Establish a clear definition of done, value-based outcomes, and release milestones.

Ensure delivery of:
Stronger reconciliation and control automation
Improved data lineage and accuracy
Scalable calculation and reporting capabilities
Business self-serve reporting foundations
Lead discovery for key use cases to determine desirability, feasibility, usability and viability in partnership with business stakeholders and technical leads
Effectively convey/communicate the product vision to the scrum teams, all stakeholders, and interested parties
Evaluate business value achieved versus plan for the product and communicating outcomes to leadership & stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Leadership Experience, product management, drive and systemic thinking
Financial Accounting Expertise: Strong understanding of IFRS-17 Financial accounting and reporting within the Insurance industry, including data and modelling inputs and outputs.
Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education: BBA, BSc, or an equivalent qualification.
Nice-to-have
Data and Analytics Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of data pipelines, ELT processes, cloud-based data platforms, data modeling, BI tools, and data governance frameworks.
Advanced Education: MBA or MSc degree is highly desirable.
Experience in the Insurance sector
Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Kanban and Sprint methodologies, as well as Agile delivery principles.
