What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Project Analyst to support the Digital Assets Program at RBC. This role sits at the heart of an enterprise initiative designed to deepen the bank’s understanding of digital assets, evaluate emerging opportunities, and advance innovation in a responsible and structured way.
As a Project Analyst, you’ll work closely with program leads, strategy teams, and subject matter experts across the organization to help develop RBC’s approach to digital assets. You will support strategic planning, coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders. Your work will help ensure program activities are well-structured, insights are actionable, and decisions are informed by rigorous analysis and effective communication.
What will you do?
Support the development and execution of the Digital Assets Program, including research, analysis, and synthesis of key insights.
Coordinate across multiple workstreams to track progress, surface interdependencies, and ensure alignment with broader enterprise objectives.
Develop structured communication materials (e.g., executive briefings, visual summaries, stakeholder updates) that clearly articulate findings, progress, and recommendations.
Facilitate collaboration between internal partners including Group Risk Management, Investor Services, Capital Markets, Technology, and Payments.
Contribute to program governance by preparing documentation, maintaining tracking tools, and supporting decision-making forums such as committees and working groups.
Conduct market and policy analysis on trends in blockchain, stablecoins, and digital finance to inform strategic direction.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve coordination, reporting, and information flow across the program.
Help refine and standardize processes for program delivery and communications across stakeholder groups.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Undergraduate degree in a technical or analytical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field).
2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or program management (preferably within financial services, consulting, or technology).
Experience in a digital innovation, fintech, web3 and digital assets.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, distill insights, and communicate them clearly and persuasively to senior audiences.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Experience preparing executive-level materials and synthesizing information into clear visuals and structured narratives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, digital identity, or tokenized assets, and their implications for banking.
Exposure to enterprise governance structures or transformation programs.
Formal business analysis / project management training (CBAP, CAPM, PMP, etc.).
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments that require independent problem solving and adaptability.
