What is the Opportunity?

RBC offers an exciting role as a Senior Manager HR Operations Process Management RBC US. If you thrive on understanding and improving processes while solving complex issues that focus on employee experience, this is the role for you. The Senior Manager, HR Operations Process Management will work with HR and Risk teams across the organization to drive process improvement for HR functions that contribute to accurate and timely payroll delivery for RBC US. You will be responsible for the development of processes that demonstrate a robust risk management culture within the function, delivering strong governance, controls and regulatory compliance to drive operational excellence and an enhanced employee experience.

What will you do?

  • Establish and maintain end to end process, risk and controls inventory in compliance with: RBC policy requirements; Unit Financial Control, SOX/EUDA; government tax regulation etc.

  • Scope and deliver remediation of Audit, Operational Risk and control issues to drive operational excellence.

  • Leads issue coordination for internal/ external audits and Control Assessments for Payroll operations.

  • Evaluate the health of existing processes and play a lead role in designing and implementing process improvements, managing risks and improving both operational effectiveness and the control environment.

  • Use change management and project management techniques to lead the implementation of sustainable change.

  • Ensures actions are taken to mitigate potential financial & operational risks.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/Technology Management or post graduate certificate/diploma in Project Management.

  • Experience within HR Operations including payroll or employee life cycle.

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience with Program Management Lean Six Sigma and process optimization.
