What is the opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join Wealth Management Technology(WMT) Data Service team. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data science and machine learning solutions to drive business growth and improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, design and implement data-driven solutions, and measure the impact of these solutions.
What will you do?
Provide technical leadership for WM Data applications.
Partner with architect to create technology roadmap
Lead the development and implementation of data science and machine learning solutions to drive business growth and improvement
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and design experiments to test hypotheses
Develop and maintain predictive models and algorithms to drive business outcomes
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines to support data science and machine learning solutions
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and data engineering
Experience with data science tools and technologies, such as Python, R, SQL, and NoSQL databases
Excellent business communication skills – able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements
Agile experience
Prior experience with Financial institutions and the Banking Sector
