What will you do?

• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications
• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system
• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions
• Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems
• Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 5+ years of Java 11+ and J2EE application development experience
• RESTful web service development experience
• Spring Boot, Tomcat experience
• Experience with Message queueing technologies like Solace, IBM MQ
• DevOps tools and technologies – GIT, Jenkins, UCD, etc.
• Linux/Unix experience
• Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills
• Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience will Hadoop/Big Data systems
