Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Reporting to the Director, Security Solution Architect. Security Solution Architect will be the architecture technical SME that leads the design of complex security initiatives. As the architecture SME, you will be expected to bring technical breadth and depth across multiple security domains, contributing thought leadership that translates into designs that are architecturally sound. You must be a good communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate, negotiate and represent Security Solutions Architecture to ensure key security attributes are incorporated into the final solution design.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Architect and design complex security solutions across both the on-premise and multi/hybrid cloud environments.
  • Partner with technical experts across the organization to ensure security architecture requirements are accounted for in program/project planning.
  • Provide thought leadership, insights and guidance on security related topics as needed
  • Inform and work with management and project team on any risks arising from projects
  • Champion an architecture-led approach that fosters a culture of adopting architecture best practices as a required building block in the implementation of security solutions
  • Keep abreast of changes in the security landscape to consult and provide direction on design and conceptual architectures on cutting-edge and next generation security capabilities.
  • Manage various global stakeholders across levels (including executives) and engage in business development and resolution of operational risk issues
  • Build and manage effective relationships with key project stakeholders, team members, and other business, functional, and support groups. Liaise with third party suppliers as appropriate
  • Work in collaboration as a trusted partner to ensure that projects are planned, managed, and executed in alignment with the functional strategy and goals

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Demonstrated experience across a broad range of cyber security technology domains, including network, endpoint, cloud, and application security
  • Exhibit understanding of newer cyber security concepts, including Zero Trust Access, Secure Access Service Edge, and Micro-Segmentation, endpoint security, and cloud security
  • Experience with AI and machine learning solutions
  • Ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technology teams and supplier, on complex projects with excellent consultancy/advisory, facilitation, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience working on business cases and understanding of basic project management principles
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with gathering and documenting business requirements, as well as detailed technical requirements
  • Prior exposure to security architecture concepts and principles would be an asset

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
