Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Productivity & Efficiency to lead T&O efforts in optimizing business processes, improving productivity, and driving efficiency across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing models to track benefits across various T&O productivity and efficiency (P&E) initiatives, analyzing data to identify incremental cost saving opportunities, implementing changes that result in increased productivity, and standing up effective stakeholder engagement models to facilitate transparency and fast adoption of efficiency plays.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement comprehensive productivity and efficiency strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives
  • Review T&O-sponsored business cases to justify investments in technologies and initiatives, applying critical thinking to challenge benefits statements and working with project teams to develop ongoing monitoring of progress against their initial benefits targets
  • Design and implement metrics (KPIs) to measure P&E initiative success and track progress against established financial goals, working closely with the Data Analytics and Financial Transformation teams to enable real-time reporting and analytics for P&E programs
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify productivity pain points and be an advocate for productivity tools to the broader T&O community to optimize efficiency
  • Support the Investment Review Board to prioritize opportunities by ensuring benefits projections are data-driven and quality-controlled by validating assumptions in a timely manner
  • Support initiatives to drive stakeholder engagement including preparation for roadshows and participation in program review sessions
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in productivity and efficiency, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5+ years working in the financial services industry, optimally in a productivity, efficiency, or operations role, and designing and developing financial and management reports
  • Experience with change management, organizational development principles, process mapping and developing/implementing governance structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and a track record of success in implementing initiatives in a complex organization

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or other data analysis and visualization software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Naturally curious about technology, a self-starter, resourceful, and highly adaptive
