What will you do?

You will be responsible for a number of tasks and activities from the following depending on your skill set, aptitude and our business needs:

• Interpretation of changes to OSFI CAR guidelines
• Carry our analysis relating to Basel IV and Pillar III reporting
• Assist with Reporting of Basel IV and Pillar III reporting
• Assist with automation of reports

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Business, Finance & Economics, Data Science & Data Analytics, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics.
• Comfortable with learning new technologies, applying empirical thinking to data and balanced with ability/ambition to perform logical deduction based on learnings of business & financial concepts on the job (prior knowledge/background nice-to-have).
• Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
• Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have

• Experience or working knowledge of Risk, Capital, and Financial concepts
• An understanding of regulatory and economic capital and how it impacts Banks investment and dividend policies
• Desk top application skills such as Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
• Entry level knowledge of SQL and Python
• Previous experience with databases and understand relational data structures

• Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
• If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
