We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join the Customer Data Management team as part of the Early Data Talent Program. What will you do?

• Build new features and improve our web application that helps data teams gather and manage analytics requirements.
• Maintain backend systems that deliver machine learning results to public-facing sites, enabling personalized experiences for our users.
• Implement best practices to keep our internal services reliable and responsive.
• Help manage and optimize ETL job orchestration within our organization’s cloud environment to ensure efficient data processing.
• Work on projects that connect our data community with advanced AI tools, including developing solutions that integrate large language models and support our organization’s AI strategy.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining both front-end (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python) components of web applications.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, including deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud-based applications and services.
• Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to enable seamless integration between services and client applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, code review processes, and application monitoring to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Exposure to developing and orchestrating ETL workflows using tools like Airflow and Spark and optimizing data processing in cloud environments for reliability and efficiency.
• Strong teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams (data, engineering, product, marketing).
• Proactive in taking responsibility for tasks and delivering results.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to large language models and AI frameworks, with experience integrating AI solutions into products and supporting machine learning workflows.
• Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing and risk management
