Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As an Associate, Operations in the Corporate Client Group (“CCG”) National Office, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining a strong monitoring, and control environment. You will act as a central point of contact for policy, procedures, ensuring consistency, compliance and operational excellence across all CCG segments in Canada.

What will you do?

  • Support the Senior Manager, Operations in overseeing policies, procedures and regulatory practices including a documenting process.

  • Monitor and maintain control processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.

  • Act as a subject matter contact for operational policies and procedures, providing guidance and clarity to business partners.

  • Collaborate with internal Business Risk Management team by coordinating requests, gathering supporting documentation and managing remediation efforts.

  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement by applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Manage data collection, reporting, and audit tracking to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining processes and driving value-added initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience; supporting multiple teams at different levels; ideally in a finance or corporate setting, with exposure to operational or compliance processes.

  • Operations & Compliance Knowledge : Strong understanding of operational procedures, internal controls and compliance standards, with experience documenting processes and supporting adherence.

  • Data & Reporting Skills : Ability to collect, organize and analyze information to provide accurate reasonable insights for management decisions

  • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving : Able to identify gaps or risks, asses options and implement practical solutions independently or collaboratively.

  • Collaboration & Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with leadership, business partners, and cross-functional teams, translating complex policies into clear guidance.

  • Confidentiality & Discretion : Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information responsibly maintaining trust and professionalism at all times.

  • Organizational Skills & Initiative: Able to prioritize multiple projects, balance competing demands, and proactively address challenges while supporting team objectives.
