What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Business Analyst on the WM Business Insights & Initiatives team, you will execute all aspects of requirement delivery and data analysis- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, and requirements management. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team (agile and E2E methodologies), working closely with requirements stakeholders to make decisions about requirements approach – requirements deliverables, activities, effort estimates and will recommend best courses of action.
In this role, you will be working on both Regulatory and Non-Regulatory type of projects to provide solutions and analyze the impact of new or changed regulations on business processes and operations.
What will you do?
- Lead end-to-end business requirements discussions, defining the roadmap and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring all perspectives are considered
- Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs while exploring opportunities for value-add and innovation
- Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication, issue triage, and alignment of expectations.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, requirements elicitation, and prioritization to ensure business needs are met effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and test cases, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
- Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through to implementation
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of details and accuracy of estimates
- Support testing activities by validating requirements, reviewing test plans, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion within budget and on time.
- Define practical user experiences, including storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions
- Provide BSA support to development team during development, testing and implementation
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a business analysis, and exposure to business process management projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable components.
- Ability to think outside the box and create innovative solutions to complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and possess strong self-starter attitude.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Confluence, to support iterative development and collaboration.
