Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the VP Global Delivery, this global leader is responsible for Strategic relationship and performance management of the primary outsourced service partner(s) as well as the entire supply chain associated with the global CRE’s service delivery model. This role is critical in driving the global alignment of CRE, driving service providers performance per contract obligations and expectations, proactively managing their portfolio of work, and ensuring that all financial, reporting, compliance and risk aspects aligned to RBC’s enterprise expectations and policies and internal voice of the customer.

What will you do?

Outsourcing Relationship and Performance Management

  • As the primary point of contact, accountable for the active relationship and performance management of the primary outsourced supplier partner(s) across all regions and service lines
  • Responsible for ongoing Compliance and management of the MSAs with the Service Partner(s)
  • Primary Lead in Developing, validating, and implementing the Service Partner strategy.
  • Oversee Service Line Leaders at Service Partner(s) to ensure Global alignment with RBC leads and platforms – ensuring that RBC and supplier support functions work effectively.
  • Drive contract performance and measurement methodology to align to RBC policy and procedure.
  • Implement, transform, and revise the performance management framework on an annual basis to ensure alignment to Current CRE and RBC’s goals and deliverables (including KPIs, Li’s and scorecards to monitor progress against objectives)
  • Responsible to capture internal voice of customer to provide key inputs into performance and changing goals and needs impacting the global Service Partners(s) and other suppliers.
  • Establish and own global governance framework to direct, control and indenttify enhancement and innovation opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the Service Partner(s) delivery of global services.

Global Alignment & Integration

  • Responsible on service partner(s) integrations into RBC-CRE’s global operating model.
  • Responsible for CRE’s Global Supplier Management Centre of Excellence (COE) ensuring effective support of regional delivery and global COE teams.
  • Lead the implementation of infrastructure and processes to align CRE globally to ensure consistency through all service lines including standard process, tools & procedures.
  • Align with RBC Global Third-Party Risk team and Functions SMO as CRE representative for RBC Supplier Management program including any Supplier Risk Management initiatives.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to capture real time feedback and regional input into the overall Service Partner(s) performance, resources and technology and tools.

Supplier Management & Enhancement

  • Accountable for the continuous improvement and operation of CRE’s supplier management program and implementation for all suppliers globally
  • Direct and oversee the Supplier Management teams at Service Partners who manage suppliers on behalf of CRE.
  • Align all CRE suppliers to oversight of CRE Supplier Management program.
  • Responsible for RBC internal client experience in dealing with CRE’s service provider globally – including CRE’s “brand” and perception within RBC as reflected in our interfaces with business platforms – tools, templates, approach, Intranet etc.
  • Rationalize and optimize the supplier portfolio with the appropriate balancing of global scale vs local requirements as well as driving towards the appropriate balance of direct-agent-principal model.
  • Responsible for RBC internal client experience in dealing with CRE’s service provider globally – including CRE’s “brand” and perception within RBC as reflected in our interfaces with business platforms – tools, templates, approach, Intranet etc.
  • Ensure all compliance and oversight activities performed in alignment with RBC’s enterprise risk and governance policies and processes and RBC’s suppliers implement all required compliance and governance practices.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Legal, Real Estate, Architecture, Finance
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Real Estate (Facilities Management, Project Management, Transaction Management, Operations and Planning)
  • Supplier Management
  • Relationship Management
  • Contract Management
  • Performance Management
  • Travel required up to 25%.
