WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering business value by leading the analysis of complex business problems, defining requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Capital Markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Partner with the Wholesale Finance business teams to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Lead requirements discussions for large and complex Wholesale Finance initiatives, defining the roadmap and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs while exploring opportunities for value-add and innovation.
- Collaborate with Program Delivery and Development teams to determine the best mix of development, interfacing applications, and third-party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.
- Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication, issue triage, and alignment of expectations.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, requirements elicitation, and prioritization to ensure business needs are met effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and test cases, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
- Support testing activities by validating requirements, reviewing test plans, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion within budget and on time.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Business Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the BA function by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must-have:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with progressively increasing responsibilities in requirements management on large and complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Agile delivery, including tools and techniques for requirement decomposition.
- Proven experience in requirements planning, prioritization, and elicitation techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
- Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using SQL.
- Experience working with APIs, and Python.
- Experience with workflow and process automation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of system integration concepts, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Nice-to-have:
- Understanding of the Product Control function and its role within Capital Markets.
- Hands-on experience with data sourcing and mappings for major Capital Market products.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics concepts.
