What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a seasoned security engineering leader to develop and implement automated solutions for Generative AI Security. As the Director Security Engineer, GenAI Security, you will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, testing, and deploying secure architectures relating to GenAI that ensure the highest level of security and compliance for our organization.
The scope of this role is a Director, as the solutions you develop will be used by all users of GenAI across the enterprise. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization meets regulatory requirements and maintains the trust of our customers and stakeholders.
What will you do?
- Designing and implementing secure architectures for GenAI systems, including text-to-image, image-to-image, and language generation models including codeGen.
- Developing strategies to protect GenAI models from adversarial attacks, including data poisoning, model inversion, and evasion attacks.
- Developing security practices for human-AI collaboration, including secure communication, authentication, and authorization for GenAI systems.
- Using AI/ML techniques to detect and respond to cyber threats, including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and incident response in GenAI environments.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating security concerns associated with GenAI models, including data quality, model drift, and concept drift.
- Working closely with AI/ML researchers to identify and address security concerns, and to develop new security techniques and protocols for GenAI systems.
- Enhance and optimize the existing Enterprise Architecture tools, including APM, and architecture certification processes, for GenAI, ensuring accurate and reliable data is available to support informed decision-making.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
- 10+ years of experience in AI research and development, with a focus on GenAI models, including transformers, GANs, and VAEs.
- Proficient in one or more security domains including AI/ML, Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Threat Management, Infrastructure Security, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure platforms (e.g. OCP).
- Strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, web services, and SaaS technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive strategy, influence stakeholders, and manage high-level architectural initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively articulate architectural concepts and facilitates architectural decisions.
Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications in security and architecture (e.g., CISSP, ISSAP, SABSA) or related fields.
- Experienced with modern programming languages e.g., Java, Python, and/or similar languages.
- Skills in leading organizational change to adopt new architectural standards and practices.
- Hands-on experience with EA tools and software that support architecture discovery and documentation automation.
- A track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Cyber Security, DevOps, product management, and business partners.
