Job Summary
Job Description
What is the opportunity?
Do you dream in CPAs, CTRs, and ROI? Can you juggle BIG media budgets while helping bold, brilliant campaigns cross the finish line on time and on budget? If so, we want you on our team!
We’re looking for a left-brained powerhouse who lives and breathes data – someone who transforms raw numbers into compelling stories, sharp insights, and strategic action. As a Marketing Manager on the Everyday Banking portfolio, you’ll own media investments, build executive-level performance reporting, and influence cross-functional teams to drive measurable business impact.
You’ll be the driving force behind our mass marketing campaigns, ensuring every dollar spent is a dollar well invested. You’ll play an important role in the full lifecycle of large-scale marketing efforts, liaising with our creative go to market team from campaign kickoff to the boardroom recap. This role will also collaborate alongside numerous partners across the organization to ensure we are on track to hit our annual targets.
🌟 What will you do?
🎯 Media Spend Maestro:
You’ll take full ownership of our media budget – allocating, optimizing, and maximizing every dollar. You’ll work smarter (not just harder), leveraging data to find efficiency wins and strategically maximize our ROI.
📈 Campaign Reporting Rockstar:
You’ll build and deliver crystal-clear performance reports and campaign updates that wow business partners, execs, and the occasional spreadsheet enthusiast.
🗺️ Media Planning Pro:
You’ll partner with media agencies and internal teams to ensure our marketing strategy is buttoned-up, targeted, and ready to make a splash. You know how to balance reach and
efficiency, spot winning media plans from a mile away, and ensure our buys hit the mark.
🧩 Project Management Powerhouse:
Working closely with our go to market team, you’ll coordinate with business partners, and SMEs to keep timelines tight, and ensure every element of our campaign machine is firing on all cylinders. You’ll double down on stakeholder collaboration to keep everyone informed – and excited to join the ride.
💡 Insights Aficionado:
Building upon the existing framework for landscape and competitive monitoring you’ll surface learnings, forward-looking insights, and practical recommendations. You’ll keep the team ahead of market shifts – and maybe even ahead of the curve.
👯 People Leader:
You’ll manage and mentor one direct report, providing day to day guidance, regular feedback and professional development support. You’ll help grow their skills and create space for them to shine.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Data-Driven DNA: 3-5 years of experience in marketing (ideally in analytical marketing roles – agency or client), advertising, or media management
Knowledge of media planning principles and channels
Ability to switch fluidly between “marketing speak” and “business speak”, crafting narratives that connect data to commercial outcome with confidence and clarity.
A flair for designing intuitive, eye-catching dashboards and charts that not only inform but inspire action. Know how to highlight the story in the stats.
Excellent relationship building/strong collaboration skills, with positive, professional attitude focused on results and delivering value to clients
Strong communicator who can translate campaign performance raw data into actionable insights & compelling stories for stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with experience in insight/data-driven marketing and performance measurement.
Exceptional stakeholder-management and influencing skills – whether you’re rallying senior business partners, media agencies, or internal partners.
A love for creativity, data, collaboration, and a little bit of chaos (the good kind)
Self-starter, excellent project management & organizational skills & ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
A university or college degree and/or MBA in Marketing or associated discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
✨ Bonus Points If You Have:
A proactive approach to identifying marketing opportunities and driving growth
Experience in consumer-facing mass media campaigns
A genuine passion for emerging marketing technologies and industry trends.
