Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

The AML IT team is responsible for supporting and enhancing AML applications in support of our Financial Crime business partner use and RBC’s related reporting to our global regulatory bodies.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Organize, Manage, and provide Status Reporting and resolution/remediation activities for AML IT application operational risk events and regulatory driven technical currency items to ensure AML IT applications and related processes are meeting the needed regulatory requirements.
- These activities include management and reporting for:
• Audit field work, issues and action plans
• CUSO, Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs )
• Operational Risk Events
• Regulatory Compliance reports
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
- A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
- Experience with main industry databases (Oracle, SQL server, etc)
- Experience with SQL environments and SQL Query.
- Experience with Window / Unix environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
- AML and/or regulatory background
- Working background/experience with segments of RBC (either business or IT)
