WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As part of Digital Risk Operations, you will be responsible for the identification, tracking, and mitigation of operational risks across digital platforms. You will work closely with technology teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards, while helping improve security control processes. You will also be expected to learn and automate manual tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Monitor and track technology risks, control gaps, and audit finding across digital platforms.
- Remediate compliance issues related to non-personal ID (NPID) password policies, SSL certificate renewals, and server hygiene standards across the Digital portfolio.
- Lead the implementation of fixes while collaborating with application and infrastructure teams as needed.
- Manage the Digital Technology Lifecycle Plan (TLP) by tracking minor end-of-life (EOL) software upgrades and partner with application teams to forecast resources and funding for major upgrades.
- Support RBC policy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain compliance dashboards, and reporting for stakeholders.
- Learn and implement automation tools to streamline compliance processes.
- Support process improvements and contribute to the digital risk governance framework.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security technologies.
- L2 proficiency in Windows and Unix (RHEL,AIX) operating systems, and troubleshooting.
- Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Significant experience with automation and configuration management tool Ansible.
- Knowledge of directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP, or Azure AD.
- Strong attention to detail in reviewing processes, documentation, and compliance to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset, willing to support and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation.
Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
