What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for the coaching and the supervision of direct reports. You will be responsible to process payment instructions received from corporate clients on two systems. These two systems are the GPLUS system for BenPay and the Refund System. Additionally, you will be responsible for the tax preparation and tax filing for all 800 + corporate clients.

What will you do?

  • Ensure accuracy of payments generated to 500,000 plus based on input instructions received from Corporate clients highlighting required changes to the monthly payroll processing of payments.
  • Ensure accuracy of payments generated to over 6,000 refund payments made based on payment instructions received from clients.
  • Comply with all legal requirements in terms of processing of payments and remittance of taxes
  • Meet all required deadlines with regards to tax filing on an annual basis.
  • Identify Risk areas within the team and work to minimize the potential impact.
  • Works directly with systems and technology unit to implement system enhancements and modifications.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of tax filing with includes the production of over 700,000 tax slips and over 1 billion dollars paid in taxes to different government bodies.
  • Delivery of statements produced for corporate clients by specific deadlines that have been agreed to.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination and upkeep of BCP for Benefit Payments.
