WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Product Manager, Payments at RBCx is a strategic leadership role centered on establishing and scaling our payments and other critical initiatives across RBCx’s portfolio companies, including Mydoh, Houseful, Dr. Bill, and Ownr.

This individual will play a key role in shaping a unified payments strategy that aligns with the needs of our diverse portfolio while driving innovation, efficiency and growth.

This role is ideal for someone with deep payments expertise, including payment networks, rails and transaction processing paired with hands-on experience in high growth scale-up environments.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Drive the payment strategy across RBCx portfolio companies, aligning roadmaps, technologies and capabilities to meet short and long term business goals.

• ​​You'll partner with engineering, product, infrastructure, security, banking partners, and other cross-functional partners to prioritize work based on impact and drive strong execution.

• Deliver high-value features that are differentiated and sequenced to ensure the highest value to our users and stakeholders.

• Establish metrics for measuring velocity and success of product initiatives.

• Stay on top of industry trends and evolving fintech infrastructure, bringing innovative thinking and recommendations to support business growth.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or Business.

• 8+ years of experience in payments, product management, product analytics, or strategy, preferably in a multi-business or portfolio environment.

• Deep understanding of payments networks and rails, including their technical, operational and compliance considerations.

• Proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that scale.

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to define and interpret metrics to guide decision making.

Nice-to-have

• An advanced degree, such as an MBA or a master’s in data science, Business Analytics, or Engineering, is highly preferred, especially if it emphasizes strategy, mathematics, or analytics.

• Experience in fintech, SaaS, marketplace, or subscription-based business models.

• Background in financial services or regulatory environments is a plus.
