As an AI Product Manager reporting directly to the Head of AI & Digital Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing strategies that leverage innovative tech to shape the future of financial services. Job Description
What will you do?
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, UX, risk, and compliance) to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered products and digital innovations.
- Analyze market trends, stakeholder needs, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings such as Generative AI solutions and blockchain services.
- Develop detailed product specifications and prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment with RBC Capital Markets’ goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation, development, testing, and launch to ongoing optimization and performance monitoring.
- Facilitate agile product development processes, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among development teams and business units.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on innovative technologies, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Monitor competitive trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements to guide continuous product innovation and maintain RBC’s competitive edge.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within a technology-driven or financial services environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics products.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, blockchain technology, and other emerging digital innovations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management practices in financial services is a plus.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $200,000 - $225,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
