Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Fall 2025 placement with a start date of September 2025 and end-date of December 2025.

In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in September/December 2025), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

The Workplace Strategy team manages Group retirement savings and pension plans for over 10,000 Canadian businesses and their 300,000 employees. We are a small team that oversees product management, operational enhancements and business strategy and are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated student to support key roadmap initiatives to enhance client/advisor experience and improve process efficiency. Initiatives include reviewing and updating policy and procedures, supporting the creation of an admin guide for Group clients and supporting the creation of enhanced client documents. The successful candidate will assist in reviewing, editing, and documenting internal polices and processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with current standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts and supporting the implementation of revised documents. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business operations, client experience, compliance, and process improvement.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with business leads and stakeholders to gather input, document requirements and validate changes
  • Review and update existing policies and procedures for accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in drafting new procedures and documents as needed
  • Maintain version control and support documentation governance
  • Help identify gaps or areas for improvement in current processes
  • Draft content for a client admin guide that serves as a one stop resource for clients
  • Support coordinating updates to client agreements


Must have

  • Pursuing a degree in Business or Finance.
  • Excellent problem solving and proven analytical skills, with a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate multi-tasking skill
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box to develop solutions.


Nice to have

  • Experience with Business presentations
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and working with end users and clients to understand their needs.
