What is the opportunity?
As a member of the Strategy and Digital Transformation team within the Business and Client Services Organization (BCS), the Business and Initiatives Analyst will report to the Manager of Strategic Communications and Talent Enablement. The individual will be responsible for supporting the organization’s day-to-day functions - supporting the fast-paced, collaborative community that helps to define BCS culture. Key areas of work include Executive Support, Office Management, Event Planning, Team Communications, and Employee Recognition.

What will you do?

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to our Global Head, Regulatory Services & Head, BCS EMEA & APAC as well as Global Head, BCS Canada, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and meeting coordination.
  • Work closely with other administrative assistants in the organization to effectively plan meetings, and events and manage calendar series. Provide administrative backup to other administrative assistants during vacation and other absences.
  • Support the team in activities to drive deeper employee engagement (i.e. team social events, coffee chat sessions, focus groups, and other connect with EVP opportunities)

Office Management

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a well-functioning, professional environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, and facilities management.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee Health & Safety at our office
  • Oversee seating and locker allocations across our offices

Communications and Employee Engagement

  • Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Maintain and help drive content for the BCS main connect site, BCS Xperience site, COO Learning site and People Manager site and other related pages, demonstrating ability to increase engagement through regular improvements and curating and highlighting relevant content.
  • Support COO Learning team with course scheduling and administrative support

What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Attention to Detail,
  • Flexibility & Adaptability
  • Proven ability in writing Internal Business Communications
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint Designer, Strategic Planning, Survey Creation, Internal Website Design & Development and WebEx

Nice-To-Have:

  • Event management/coordination experience
  • Keen ability with new technology
  • Experience with content creation
