What is the opportunity?

Senior Project Manager, managing BIG BOLD projects with CFO.

Plans and executes projects and programs with a high value/cost and level of complexity, ensuring operational effectiveness and adherence to the Enterprise Initiative Management Framework and PMO standards while balancing multiple and competing demands and priorities. Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed program schedules, this role also acts as a point of control of the program’s financial management processes and development of reporting for senior leadership and executives. Responsible for project control management and artifact documentation (i.e., Issues, Risks, Assumptions, Dependencies etc.) and other general project reporting

What will you do?

• Chairs the Project Working Group (PWG)
• Responsible for the end to end delivery of the project which includes managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, artefacts, project team, communication, issues & risks.
• Monitors and reports on project status
• Identify and negotiate project resources
• Supports development of Project Approval Requests (PAR)
• Ensures all mandatory and supporting EIMF Artefacts are completed and signed-off
• Collects and performs team review of estimates to ensure consistency and completeness
• Coach, lead and motivate project team members

Benefit Management Focus:

• Manages projects, ensuring that the focus remains on achievement of the highest priority benefits
• Proactively manages any risks/issues to the achievement of these benefits and escalates these risks/issues, as required, to the sponsor and/or business owner
• Responsible for in-flight review of benefits, ensuring the desired business outcomes/benefits will be delivered per plan
• Ensures timely updates to the Benefit Tracking Template are made by the sponsor/business owner

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• 7 to 10 years experience
• Undergraduate Degree/Diploma
• Completion of Project Management specific learning courses

Nice-to-have:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Designation and/or Project Management Professional/Program Management Professional (PMP/PGMP) Designation.
• Undergraduate degree/Diploma (Business/Engineering List
• CPA designation or experience in CFO
