What will you do?
- Incident Management: Joint primary and on call support, troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of incidents.
- Risk & Compliance: Server migrations ongoing & upcoming Software upgrades
- Change Management: Deploying code to supported environments
- Participate in new project initiatives
- Document internal application support procedures for improved service delivery and resiliency
- Interface with vendor support processes and contacts when additional technical support is required
- Collaborate effectively with development teams by identifying defects and opportunities for automation and enhancements
- Participate in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture and infrastructure SME’s to ensure that all aspects of the IAM solution architecture are defined and elaborated
- Build and maintain test and production environments including but not limited to: ensuring RBC required patching is maintained, ensuring currency on applications including testing, hotfixes and service packs, and support application integrations
- Support all implementations for testing and production environments by communicating upcoming change to impacted technology partners and identifying the requirement for post-production application regression testing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and interface with groups using a variety of techniques
What do you need to succeed?
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of Technical System Analyst experience with strong knowledge in the installation, configuration, and support of highly scalable and complex systems including front-end servers, web servers, back-end servers and databases, and application interfaces
- 3-5 Years experience implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management applications like Okta and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience troubleshooting system issues in complex environments (servers, firewalls, etc.)
- Experience with server-side technologies including caching, asynchronous processing, and multi-threading
- Understanding and Cybersecurity best practices and principles such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RBC provisioning processes
- Exposure to Authentication and Authorization applications like Okta or Azure AD .
- DevOps experience with continuous integration/delivery best-practices, technologies, and tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, and Confluence
- Industry related certification – CISSP
- Agile development practices experience
- Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes
- IT standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
