What is the opportunity?

Are you interested in working within a client-centric and innovative group insurance business and a team that is focused on best-in-class product management, fostering a culture of collaboration and agility, and empowering employees to deliver value for our clients, advisors, and partners? In this role you will be responsible for providing ongoing support for the Group Disability and Guarantee Standard Issue (GSI) Products and will be the key point of contact for claims, sales and service teams, and other key business areas across Group Benefits and GSI. Working closely with the broader Product & Pricing team, you will help identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the Group Disability and Guarantee Standard Issue Products and supporting services, to drive new revenue and increase profitability, efficiency, and client retention.

What will you do?

•Provide ongoing support to claims, sales and service teams by being the key point of contact for group benefit and GSI products related inquires

•Collaborate with internal and external partners to address ongoing product issues and developments including underwriting, pricing, operations and external partners

•Maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape, regulatory environment

•Support updates to product materials, training materials, the product guides, proposal and contract wording, and all client facing marketing materials such as the advisor guide and marketing emerging trends impacting disability

•Support product development and management activities associated with the group benefit and GSI products; participating in ideation, information gathering of product and system requirements materials

What will you need to succeed?

•5+ years of experience in the Group Benefit space, with experience preferably in disability claims adjudication, underwriting, or consulting, or pricing environment

•Deep industry and product knowledge or related business experience

•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills while fostering teamwork

•Ability to work either independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment facing multiple tasks or in cross-platform teams

•Proven ability to build and leverage partnerships with cross functional and external stakeholders

•Creative problem solver and decision maker with a strong analytical mindset
