What is the opportunity?

This role will identify, develop, support and/or lead advanced analytics initiatives to drive Savings & Investments portfolio growth. You will also support the development and reporting of key insights related to distribution strategy, product, pricing and risk.

What will you do?

• Support and lead key initiatives to help drive business objectives and financial performance through advanced analytics and data-driven insights.

• Develop, maintain and maximize opportunities to drive greater performance through platform(s) used to deliver proactive leads to the sales force.

• Proactively identify opportunities and insights to support key decisions and designs of acquisition, growth and retention strategies across our multiple channels, such as Branch and Contact Centres, On-Line Banking, and My Advisor (Virtual).

• Lead the design, development and production of comprehensive analytics, reporting, and forecasting/modeling to identify and support major initiatives across Savings & Investments.

• Play a key role as the analytics support partner for all Savings & Investments initiatives relating to Business Management and Risk & Regulatory, providing insights and reporting to the business leads.

• Lead and manage key relationships within Savings & Investments and across P&CB and Wealth Management (e.g. GAM) analytics teams.

• Provides support, consultation, and direction to VP and Senior Directors on sales planning, issues related to Portfolio performance, client insights, sales analytics and guidance on areas of focus, increased investment or divestment.

• Will also play a role in key projects as a SME representing the Savings & Investments business; Accountable for data quality, consistency of measurement, presentation and delivery of information used in design and decision making.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Advanced SQL, SAS, Tableau, Python, R, Excel, PowerPoint skills

• Strong background as a strategic leader who has strength in technical skills related to reporting, analytics, data driven insights and/decision making and modelling

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex initiatives, interpret and present information clearly and accurately in writing, or verbally to many different audiences (broad operating range)

• Proven ability to manage business relationships, impact and influence and stakeholder

• Strong creative problem-solving skills and analytical mindset

• Develop knowledge of Savings & Investments products

Nice to have:

• Expert with structured and unstructured data to create key insights

• Experience developing statistical models
