We are currently looking for a passionate individual who wants to oversee Data Regulatory Compliance & Risk for our Advanced Data Insights & Integration team.
What will you do?
Take part in active projects to ensure the necessary data compliance and risk items are being tracked and addressed
Understand and comprehend technical documentation to translate deliverables into adequate compliance and risk documents
Pro-actively and immediately identifies all risks related to project as well as addresses new risks and regulatory requirements hitting our team
Track issues, conflicts, and raise any high priority concerns to immediate manager when required
Monitor the applicable processes and procedures to meet dynamic internal security standards, policies and external regulations and audits
Collaborate with the Data Management Office team and the Business Office teams to develop content related to privacy, model risk, project risk and remediation
Oversee the project management of a skilled data collection team utilizing JIRA
Document risk activities and ensure other team documentation is in confluence
Regularly take part in the creation of roadmaps, SMT updates, dashboards, and other organizational materials to ensure the team is meeting initiatives and management has a clear indication on the current status of the teams work
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Excellent technical understanding of data and AI technologies, control services and objectives
Deep understanding of regulatory compliance management, internal and external audit processes, and framework
Experience with modern enterprise data development
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and illustrate the business value we provide to our stakeholders and enterprise
Commitment to learn, especially on technical details of technologies
Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with project management portals or interfaces and willing to learn new processes or tools
Have taken part in privacy risk assessments used to assess privacy risk with a risk officer regarding specific project requirements and needs
Application or Infrastructure control assessment done to assess controls are adequate and in place for our solutions
Working together with RISK COGS to assess the overall risk of your initiative or solution to the bank (reputation, fraud etc.)
Tracking and insuring that risks identified in previous processes are logged for remediation or acceptance in a centralized system of record
