What is the Opportunity?
As the Configuration and Reporting Manager, you will be key contributor to the Marketing Services team supporting P&CB & Insurance Marketing teams and their partners. You will support the implementation and maintenance of third-party tools (MRM and Birst) and ensure they meet stated technical and business objectives.

*Please note that the location for this position is Toronto. This position requires a hybrid working arrangement of approx. 2 days/week in the office.

What will you do?

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand needs and requirements & translate business requirements into detailed specifications.
  • Participate in the design of the solution and understand the technical capability of the 3rd Party software.
  • Configure the required solution into 3rd Party Software tools – MRM and Birst
  • Develop and execute test plans and document the results.
  • Provide training and on-going support of core functionality of MRM and Birst for all users, including maintaining MRM Core User Guides
  • Evaluate vendor software release content and establish and impacts.
  • Support all RBC MRM implementations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of automated solutions and provide recommendations on new or enhanced system capability.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements and translate into clear requirements.
  • Proficient writing user and system stories and supporting documentation - business process and system workflows.
  • Ability to configure 3rd party software solutions which includes debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the configuration process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft solutions such as Excel and Access to support business solutions.
  • Experience using Tableau or other like business reporting tools an asset.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills, able to anticipate and identify issues, present solutions, and negotiate with all stakeholders to resolve.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to influence others and effectively move toward a common vision or goal at all levels in an organization.
