What is the opportunity?

Based in London, this role within Credit Transformation will support Wealth Management Europe (WME) Credit team delivery of credit products and solutions within the UK and Channel Islands. You will be responsible for managing and driving the delivery of various transformational initiatives encompassing system enhancements, process improvement and strategic change initiatives impacting the Credit team.

The role of Manager – Credit Transformation, will require regular collaboration with the Credit team, Global Credit colleagues, WME Senior Management, Project Managers, IT developers and other teams across WME.

What will you do?

  • Manage, coordinate, track and execute on a range of transformation initiatives and projects across Credit which can include collaboration with Project Managers, IT, Credit colleagues globally and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • Focus on IT infrastructure related projects aimed at creating efficient, streamlined systems and processes for Credit to deliver a superior client experience.

  • Support and drive on-going process improvement and implementation of streamlining, automation or otherwise improvement of existing processes and practices to improve efficiencies and client experience.

  • Manage the development and delivery of training and change materials for users impacted by process improvements and technology enhancement projects, collaborating with key stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance and assistance to Credit team members in preparing and submitting SRMA Third Party Risk and PARA Privacy Risk assessments in collaboration with Supplier Management, IT, Operational Risk, Compliance and Privacy.

  • Provide backup support for Credit Transformation team members and act as delegate when required.

  • Work with the Credit team, Sales & Relationship Managers and the broader Global Credit and Cash Management team to deliver strategic initiatives prioritized by senior management.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Excellent interpersonal, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Established track record of embracing change and implementing business process improvements in a financial services setting.

  • Knowledge of developing and delivering training material in a financial services setting.

  • The ability to work independently under minimum supervision or guidance.

  • Strong understanding of a control environment requirements and how to balance this with process efficiency.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have

  • A Wealth management or Finance working background.
