Job Summary

Successful candidate will work in CNB-MERRIAM Project, where it will develop and implement Risk IT-managed CNB DataMart to centralize and standardize non-financial risk reporting (NFRR) data from strategic and tactical source systems.

The business system analyst (BSA)’s responsibilities will include understanding the operational risk data, mapping source data to internal monitoring reporting, e.g. Nonfinancial Report and supporting production related items.

Primarily, the BSA will create mapping logic or create requirement document and liaise with IT developers to communicate those requirements; and plan/coordinate all user testing, coordinate implementation/migration as necessary and communicate (written and verbally) to project leadership team and or senior management on project status throughout the project lifecycle.

What will you do?

  • Good stakeholder management skill where candidate is able to coordinate among stakeholders, colleague, and managers to encourage adoption of best practices and prevention of workplace conflicts.
  • Understanding various non-financial matrix and quickly create logic to communicate for developers for coding.
  • Picking up new concept and applying it quickly, e.g. operation risk, client vs employee etc.
  • Performing data gap analysis, systems, processes, and procedures as required for the project.
  • Create reporting mapping logic or requirement document
  • Communicating requirement to development and QA, performing testing, coordinating UAT testing and assisting production implementation
  • Contributing to the process re-engineering and process improvement where applicable.
  • Supporting user’s training and documentation as needed.
  • Report the BA team working status and raise concerns or issues that may hinder the project progress as planned to management and PMs

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Experience in systems implementation, process improvements or systems re-engineering projects with a banking organization or consulting company.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher, preferable in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
  • Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle, Agile, others
  • Experience in SQL through HIVE, MS SQL server, Teradata, HUE, Snowflake etc.
  • Advance MSWord, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, Visio, MS Access

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of Operational Risk reporting
  • Experience in data sourcing and mappings to cover for both on and off –balance sheet and non-financial data.
  • Experience with Tableau
